Goldhosts Email Server Port and Authentication Settings

All of Goldhosts Email Servers require Authentication for both sending and recieving email. for new email accounts, the most common solution to "I can't send email" is to set your email program to authentic when sending.

Most of Goldhosts server accept multiple ports for email transfer. The following ports are used in our systems:

POP:
110 (No SSL)
995 (Requires SSL) (Some servers only)

SMTP:
25 (No SSL)
587 (Can handle SSL) (Some servers only)
465 (Requires SSL) (Some servers only)

IMAP:
143 (No SSL)
993 (Requires SSL) (Some servers only)
